swag是美国年轻人的口头禅，特别是喜欢嘻哈，玩音乐的人，常常脱口而出。
那么，swag到底是什么意思呢？
sw-这个“偏旁”是“弯，转，摇摆，摇晃”的意思，比如sway是“倾斜”，swing是“挥动，转动，摇晃”。
而swag是指“摇晃，蹒跚，摇摆地走”，后来引申有名词“包裹，行囊”，俚语中又有了“脏物，被盗物品，非法所得”(名词），以及“偷，带着赃物逃走”（动词）等意思。
The robbers divided the swag.
强盗们分割了赃物。
He swagged another car on the way to Paris.
在去巴黎的路上，他又偷了一辆汽车。
swagger，就是源自swag，表示“大摇大摆地走，昂首阔步”。
值得注意的是，“偏旁”-er除了附在名词后，构成名词表示“与…有关的人”，“…的人”，“…者”外，还可以附在动词和动词词根后，常用以构成像声动词，表示“屡次”，“一再”，“反复地”。
swagger即是“反复地摇摆着走”，同时还引申指“神气活现，得意忘形，妄自尊大”，甚至有“吹牛皮，说大话，自吹自擂”的意思，常与about连用。比如：
Zuijie swaggered into the room.
最姐大摇大摆地走进了房间。

后来，随着嘻哈音乐的流行，swag就变成了“apersonssenseofstyleorskills”的意思，说一个 got swag，相当于说一个人的行为举止以及穿搭他很酷，很自信，很有性格，很嘻哈，通常用来相互吹嘘。

那个女孩很酷很自信。
再后来，由于swag的实在太火了，甚至引起圈外人的反感，觉得很烦。不少人也会用swag来讽刺或嘲笑他人。
因此，听到swag具体是称赞很酷，还是带有讽刺，还要看具体语境和语气哦~
